May 29, 2007 > Ms. Dina Eastwood Honored Alumni at Ohlone Graduation Ms. Dina Eastwood Honored Alumni at Ohlone Graduation Submitted By Office of College Relations Ohlone College, officials awarded 585 Associate degrees in the 40th annual graduation, May 24. Ms. Dina Ruiz Eastwood attended and spoke at the ceremony as an honored alumnus who attended Ohlone in 1983 after her graduation from Mission San Jose High School. After graduating from SFSU in 1988 with a degree in Broadcast Communications, Ms. Eastwood returned to Ohlone to join its television broadcast class, which aired a taped-live news program once a week. Her position on Ohlone TV News as a news anchor led to her first professional job reporting, producing and anchoring the news in Flagstaff, Arizona. She later co-hosted Candid Camera. In 1996 Dina married actor/director Clint Eastwood, and has turned her attention to her current role of wife and mother. She is a PTA president at her daughter's school and is involved in many community fundraising activities. She is a contributing journalist in print and television and was recently featured as the cover story for Carmel magazine's Spring/Summer edition.
