FUSD Citizens Bond Oversight Committee

The Fremont CBOC (Fremont Unified School District Citizens Bond Oversight Committee) which oversees the spending of the $157 million 2002 Health and Safety Bond will meet on Wednesday, June 6, 7:00pm-9:00pm at Kennedy High School, 39999 Blacow Rd. Fremont, CA 94538. The meeting will cover general business including, public outreach and a status report of all projects in pre-design, design, and construction stages, as well as a review of the planned projects remaining for Kennedy High School.. As always, the public is invited to attend the meeting and there is an opportunity for public input on the agenda.
The committee met last on May 2, 2007, at Washington High School, where the planned projects for that facility were discussed as well as a completion tour of the summer 2006 projects including outdoor dining, landscaping and a memorial. The current overall status of the district's bond related projects were reviewed and a presentation by financial consultants retained by the district to review a proposal for refinancing of school bonds to obtain better terms for the district and thus for taxpayers.
