Grandmaster Bustillo to visit Union City

The Dragons Den Mixed Martial Arts Club today announced that internationally acclaimed martial arts instructor and former student of Bruce Lee, Grandmaster Richard Bustillo, will visit the club and teach a seminar in Union City on June 2 & June 3, 2007.

Grandmaster Bustillo, who will be featured on the cover of Black Belt Magazine in July 2007, will teach a hands-on training seminar that will cover techniques, history and philosophy of various forms of martial arts including:

BOXING/MUAY THAI: Striking with your fists, elbows, knees, and shins.
JEET KUNE DO: Bruce Lee's "Way of the Intercepting Fist"
CACOY DOCE PARES: Filipino Stick-fighting
JUJITSU/WRESTLING: Submission Grappling

At the Dragons Den, proprietor, "Sigung" Jeffrey Macalolooy, a Union City resident of over 30 years and teacher at Caesar Chavez Middle School, offers classes in Kajukenbo, Eskrima, Kali, Wrestling, and Kickboxing. The Dragons Den teaches the art of Kajukenbo, a mixed art combining the styles of five Asian Martial Arts founded in Hawaii in 1947. "Ka" represents Korean Karate (Tang Soo Do). "Ju" represents Judo and Jujitsu. "Ken" comes from Kenpo. Finally, "Bo" comes from Chinese Boxing (Sil-um Pai Shaolin Gung Fu).
