On Saturday, May 12, the Under-12 Storm team rallied from a 2-0 deficit to tie the undefeated Cheetahs 2-2, despite being one player short for the entire game. Lacey Cole scored both goals for the Storm, including the tying goal with five minutes remaining in the match.

Jessica Geier then stopped a shot on goal near the end of the second half to help preserve the tie. Julie Hancock, Amy de Landa, Abby Harrison and Kailey Richardson also had good games for Storm.

Wednesday, May 16, saw the Under-14/15 Mango Tangos win their third straight game as they scored the last five goals to whip Fusion, 7-2. Ashley Gallagher paced the Tangos with a pair of goals.

The winners were the beneficiaries of an own-goal by Fusion late in the first half that broke a 2-2 tie. Mango Tango then scored four times over the second half.

Kylie Stoeppel, Sarah Kowalski, Stephanie Lloyd and Emma Johnston were the other goal scorers while Paige Castren contributed two assists. Sarah de Landa, Sophia Harrison and Maggie Sullivan also had good games for the winners, who improved their record to 5-2.
