May 22, 2007 > Dancing with your Local Stars Dancing with your Local Stars By Diana Marroquin KK Kaneshiro and dance partner, Richard Lane, were the decided winners of last Tuesday evening's Dancing with your Local Stars benefit dance for Tri-City Health Center. First Runners-up were Bo Magnussen and his partner, Lois Hilton. The night was a pronounced success, with twice as many tickets sold this year, compared to last year (the first year of the event). A delighted audience packed the Saddlerack, site of last year's event as well, applauding energetically and cheering on their favorite dance team. Even the judges got into the lively spirit with their witty and sometimes droll comments, a-la TVs Dancing with the Stars. Money raised from this year's fundraising dance competition will go toward the purchase of cervical cancer screening equipment at the Health Center.
