QuickHealth, Inc. announced today the opening of its latest retail medical store in Fremont. This is the seventh QuickHealth location to open in the San Francisco Bay Area, and the eighth in California. QuickHealth provides quality medical care delivered by licensed medical doctors in a more convenient and affordable manner than traditional doctor's offices or urgent care centers. The Fremont QuickHealth is located in leased space inside the Wal-Mart Store at 40580 Albrae Street, Fremont CA 94538, at the Stevenson Blvd. exit off of Interstate 880. The telephone number is 510-657-8800.
QuickHealth doctors typically treat routine family medical problems such as earaches, fever, or sore throats; provide school, sports, or employment physicals; offer a broad range of immunizations including flu, tetanus, or hepatitis shots, and conduct a wide array of diagnostic lab tests including pregnancy, liver function, and cholesterol checks. Minor injuries (such as sprains, rashes, or insect bites) are also treated. For more serious ailments QuickHealth doctors will refer patients to the appropriate care.
Upon entering a QuickHealth facility, customers see a menu board that clearly spells out the prices of the most commonly requested services. A standard visit with the doctor costs just $49.00; lab tests and immunizations start at just $19.00. QuickHealth employs the latest electronic medical record technology in all its facilities.
The Fremont QuickHealth will be open seven days a week; from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Customers can drop in to QuickHealth at their convenience; no appointment is necessary. Services are delivered in both Spanish and English by a bilingual staff.
