Dig This! Ground Breaking Celebration
The City of Fremont invites you to join City staff and partnering agencies to celebrate the ground breaking of the Washington Boulevard/Paseo Padre Parkway Grade Separation Project. The ground breaking will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2007 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 3560 Washington Boulevard near Osgood Road (at the old storage facility between the railroad tracks).
The ground breaking marks the start of major construction for the largest public works project in the City's history. Speakers will include City of Fremont Mayor, Bob Wasserman, City Manager, Fred Diaz, Supervisor, Scott Haggerty of the Alameda County Board of Supervisors and BART Director, Tom Blalock, in addition to City staff. Attendees will join speakers and members of the project team in breaking ground to signify the start of major construction activities. A reception with refreshments will immediately follow the ceremony. |
