FC Fremont Girl's House League

April 21, 2007

After falling behind 2-0 at halftime, the Mango Tangos battled back, only to lose their second straight game 3-1, to first-place Chaos. Kelsey Stoeppel cut the Tangos' deficit on a nifty centering pass by Megan Liebowitz, who also played a dominating game in mid-field. Liebowitz, Emma Johnston, Kylie Stoeppel and Samanta Floth had shots on goal in an effort to tie the game before Chaos put it away. Sarah de Landa also had an excellent game for the Mango Tangos.

The Storm played the undefeated Cheetahs on even terms for most of the game before falling victim to a breakaway goal late in the game on their way to a tough 1-0 loss. Julie Hancock had two shots that just missed in the second half; while Cindy Tafolla and Abby Harrison had standout games for the Storm.
