April 17, 2007 > 5th Annual Literary Luncheon 5th Annual Literary Luncheon By Mona Shah The Milpitas Alliance for the Arts will host its fifth annual Literary Luncheon April 21 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Milpitas Community Center. Sharing our lives through literature, the luncheon will feature author Jana McBurney-Lin's award-winning book "My Half of the Sky." This novel describes the life of a young woman both comforted and assaulted by traditional Chinese culture in a modern, globalizing world. Lunch will be a Chinese buffet and dim sum, and entertainment will be provided by a Chinese instrumentalist. Admission is $10, and $8 for students and seniors.
