April 10, 2007 > FREE health screening at pancake breakfast FREE health screening at pancake breakfast The Dawn Breakers Lions Club of Fremont will have Free Health Screening available for members of the community at their annual Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, April 29th. The mobile testing unit will be available from 8 am to 12 noon at the Elks Club, 38991 Farwell Dr., Fremont.. The unit has the capability of testing for high blood pressure, high blood glucose (as an indication of potential diabetes), audiology, and vision screening. The Lions Club will be serving "all you can eat pancakes" with ham, eggs, juice and coffee. Cost of the complete meal is $5, children under 6 are free. All proceeds from the breakfast will be used for local Lions community service projects..
