South Bay Chinese Service Club's Annual Scholarship Luncheon
This year, the South Bay Chinese Service Club awarded $10,000 in scholarships to graduating high school seniors of Chinese descent. Our 38th annual SBCSC Scholarship Luncheon was held at the Courtyard by Marriott, Newark-Silicon Valley on Sunday, April 1, 2007. Each applicant was presented with certificates of recognition from Congressman Pete Stark, Senator Ellen Corbett, Assemblyman Albert Torrico and Alameda County Supervisor Scott Haggerty. The speakers were Ohlone College Trustee Garrett Yee and Fremont School Board Vice-President Ivy Wu.
