Hayward: Easter Bonnet Parade & Egg Hunt Saturday, April 7 Kennedy Park 19501 Hesperian Blvd., Hayward
This event is held annually the Saturday before Easter at Kennedy Park. The Easter Bonnet Parade is led by the Easter Bunny for children ages 6 years old and under who wear homemade bonnets. Prizes are given to those bonnets judged as the prettiest, most unusual, and most colorful. The Egg Hunt is for children between the ages of 3 and 9 years old. Phone: (510) 317-2302
Union City: Spring Egg Hunt Saturday, April 7 | Ages 1-12 years (Fee) Kennedy Community Center 1333 Decoto Rd., Union City
Egg hunt, mini carnival, pancake breakfast, book fair, great games and raffle prizes. Each participant will receive a basket full of goodies and participate in a wonderful egg hunt lead by Mr. Bunny. The book fair and the Pancake Breakfast will begin at 8:30 am in the assembly hall (pancake breakfast does require an extra fee). The Carnival will open at 9:00 am while the egg hunts will begin at 10:00 am. For more information please call (510) 675-5276.

Whipped cream relays, upside down egg toss contests and rubber chicken races plus an in-the-dark egg hunt and door prize drawing (bring a flashlight). Fee includes snack and game materials. Easter Sunrise Service Sunday, April 8; 6:30 - 7:00 a.m. In the grassy area behind the parking lot, Niles Community Park, corner of 3rd and H Streets, Niles (Fremont). Congregational United Church of Christ, Niles Congregational United Church of Christ, and First Christian Church welcome all to a beautiful early morning celebration of the early morning discovery of the resurrection of Christ.

Newark: Aqua Egg Hunt Friday, Apr 6; 6 p.m. Join us for an Aquatic twist on the traditional egg hunt. This is an event where children can pick eggs out of the water or find those special hiding spots around the facility. Eggs can be turned in for bags of treats. Find the special eggs and receive a free family four pack to the facility. $8 pre-registration (passholders receive an additional 10% off for pre-registration) Pre-registration ends at 11:59pm, April 5th.
