March 13, 2007 > Harmonize Our World Harmonize Our World Music for Minors II will be sponsoring their 9th annual Showcase 2007 "Harmonize Our World" concert on Friday, March 16. Music for Minors II, the nonprofit music enrichment program keeping music in the schools locally since 1988, presents 200 children in concert during March's Music in the Schools month. This annual Showcase features students from kindergarten through 5th grade from Fremont, Newark and Castro Valley schools united in song, instrumentation, and dance as they convey the power the universal language of music has to unite people. A grandpa and grandchild help tell the musical story between each school's performance. From the dynamic two part musical opener to the tender "Dreams of Harmony" finale, the audience will be engaged, particularly as they join the performers for the lively "Down to the Bone" number.
