Preschool storytime
Did you know that regular exposure to books and reading is one of the best ways to prepare your young child for reading and future success in school? A great way to introduce your child to the joy of reading is to bring them to Preschool Storytime at the Library! Winter Preschool Storytime is now open at the Union City Library. The half-hour series of stories, songs, fingerplays and stretches is free and runs every Thursday evening through June 7 from 7 to 7:30 pm. Bring your three to five year olds to the Library, a branch of the Alameda County Library system, 34007 Alvarado-Niles Road, across the street from Logan High School and next door to Union City City Hall. Regular attendance is highly recommended. Call (510) 745-1464 (extension 13 or 14 for the Reference Desk) any time the Library is open. The hours at the Union City Library are Sunday 1-5 pm, Monday 10 am - 6 pm, Tuesday and Thursday 1-8 pm, Wednesday 10 am - 8 pm, Fridays from 2 - 6 pm and Saturday 10 am - 5 pm. |
