To all those living in the Tri-City Area, Fremont Fire Department is now recruiting for its Medical Reserve Corps. Any medically trained citizens living or working within the Tri-City area that do not have first responder status to another agency or hospital during a disaster, are invited to join. We are looking for (retired and practicing) doctors, nurses, paramedics, EMTs, dentists, orthodontists, veternarians, mental health professionals, basically any health professionals, to help create a Medical Reserve Corps. to serve our area as supplemental medical staff in times of mass care need, such as disasters. MRC shall work closely with the Fremont Metropolitan Medical Response System and the City's Disaster Response efforts. |
