MACULAR DEGENERATION EDUCATIONAL SEMINAR TO TAKE PLACE AT ALMAVIA ASSISTED LIVING
Union City, Calif. - The community is invited to attend an educational seminar on Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) scheduled for January 23, 2007 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.. at AlmaVia Assisted Living in Union City, 33883 Alvarado-Niles Road.
Led by Sarb Hundal, M.D., F.A.C.S., Surgeon/Director of Mission Valley Eye Center, attendees will learn all about the disease including the warning signs, the symptoms, how the disease is detected and how it is treated.
In addition, the seminar will cover the various types of AMD, highlighting those that are most at risk, and treatments for those already experiencing symptoms.
