Professionals take Peter Pan to a new level

StarStruck Theatre takes its award-winning production to new heights with "Peter Pan." Las Vegas-based ZFX Flying joins the StarStruck's artistic team as Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, and the Darling children soar to the sky at Ohlone College Smith Center on January12.

Hold your breath as Peter and the Darling children fly off to Neverland. Be enchanted by the music of a 14-piece orchestra and be transposed to another magical world with the scenery by highly acclaimed professional scenic designer Andrea Bechert and scenic artist Stephan Wathen. ZFX Flying Inc. combines unique aerial choreography and state of the art flying equipment to conjure awe-aspiring special effects. Their services have included flying monkeys for Wicked, witches from the production of Wizard of Oz, and Cathy Rigby's flying in Peter Pan.

The cast features 50 of the Bay Area's most talented young performers, guided vocally
by Nancy Godfrey -- a surgeon by day and a genius of a musical director by night. Artistic Director Lori Stokes will once again amaze us with their own magic touch-watch out for the pixie dust.

TCV will be doing a review of the play, please look for it in our January 16 issue.

Tickets are $20/adults, $18/students and seniors, $15/children and can be purchased online at www.starstrucktheatre.org or by calling the StarStruck box office (510) 659-1319 or Ohlone Box Office (510) 659-6031.
