Bond oversight committee reportby Robert Monkman
The Fremont Unified School District Citizens Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC), which oversees spending of the $157 million Health and Safety Bond, will meet on Wednesday, December 13, from 7 – 9 p.m. in the library at Thornton Jr. High School, 4357 Thornton Ave. Fremont, CA 94536. This meeting location is in honor of the new Multi-Use Building at Thornton, which will be dedicated at 6:30 p.m.
The meeting will cover general business, including public outreach and a status report of all projects in pre-design, design, and construction stages. As always, the public is invited to attend. There will be an opportunity for public input during the committee meeting.
The CBOC last met on November 1 at Mission San Jose Elementary School to discuss the planned alteration projects for that school, plus public visibility of projects underway, public outreach and to review the current overall status of the district’s bond-related projects.
