All turkeys welcome by League of Volunteers
4,321 residents of the greater Tri-Cities area enjoyed a Thanksgiving meal last year courtesy of the League of Volunteers and many generous citizens. LOV wants to do it again this year for the 18th time.
They’re asking for turkeys, hams, pies, oval roasting pans, and a whole host of support items and supplies. LOV also needs live bodies in the form of volunteers. It’s a massive and marvelous effort to bring some holiday cheer to those who would be alone otherwise, or who lack the resources to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal and fellowship.
LOV is working with “Partners in Giving”, a consortium of 26 Tri-City area services agencies. With your help, this year will be another success story.

P.S. Remember LOV in your holiday giving to make sure the organization survives its current financial crisis. Cash donations will make the difference for this important community organization. Please help! |
