Search and Destroy

by Charlotte Flowers

On Thursday evening, Chabot College Little Theater will open its doors to the public and present, “Search and Destroy” a play by, Howard Korder.

All of the actors are students of Chabot College’ s Theater 47 class taught by instructor Dov Hassan, a veteran actor for over thirty years and a theater instructor at Chabot for the past six years.  “I originally came here to build a set for a play and it turned into a part-time teaching job, which was great for me”, said Dov.

Search and Destroy is about a character named Martin trying to find meaning in his life by making a movie about a book written by a Dr. Waxly. However he is broke and takes out a loan then meets a man name Kim who introduces him into the world of drug peddling.

“People die, people lie, and people get screwed over. It just shows how far someone will go to do what they want to do”, Said Jannel Agari who has a dual role in the play.

Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased at the door. For more information call (510) 723-6810.
