Two late goals allowed the Strikers of the Under-14 League to break a 1-1 tie and defeat the Blue Streak 3-1 on Wednesday, Oct. 18. Victoria Gallegos scored the lone Blue Streak goal off a corner kick from Ally Hamro Cardona. Paige Castren and Shannon Grant also came close to scoring for the Streak. In a 3-0 loss to the Threat on Saturday, October 21, Lauren Vargas, Diyva Gupta and Camille Titus played well. The next competition for Blue Streak will be the Director’s Cup, held Nov. 11 and 12. |
