Friends of the Library book saleby Marne Schreiber
Come to the Fremont Friends of the Library's final book sale for 2006, and you'll quickly discover that the saying, "Have we got a deal for you!" still rings true. These gently-used book sales represent a wonderful bargain for teachers, students, parents and book lovers in general, as well as a generous source of income for our Fremont libraries.
Thousands of books in just about every category under the sun are offered at 75¢ an inch, stacked. Records are 25¢ each. Children's books, sheet music, audio tapes, videos, and some special books are individually priced. The more books sold, the more money is received to support our Fremont libraries. Proceeds pay for children's and adults' special events and programs, books, CDs, DVDs, magazine subscriptions, and other acquisitions.
October's book sale will be held in the former main library building, adjacent to the Teen Center at Central Park (off Paseo Padre Parkway and Sailway Drive).
Come early for the best deals in town! Please bring your own bags; no boxes. For more information, call (510) 494-1103.
