On Saturday, Sept. 30, the Blue Streak of the girl's Under-14 House League defeated the Charmers, 6-2. Victoria Gallegos of the Blue Streak scored five goals and Priya Chokshi added one, along with two assists, as the Blue Streak won its first game of the season. Ally Hamro Cardona chipped in with two assists and Ashley Renaud and Paige Castren played well for the winners.
Also, on Saturday, Sept. 30, the Green Gators of the girl's Under-12 House League snapped a two game losing streak with a 3-0 victory over the Anacondas. Rebecca Jacobson, Katie Courville and Lacey Cole scored goals for the Gators and Nadine Morishita added two assists. Katie Richardson also played well for the winners.
On Monday, Oct. 2, the Gators lost a hard-fought 2-1 thriller to the Cheetahs. For the Gators, Sarah McWaid played well on defense, as did Julie Hancock in midfield. Gator's goalie Lauren Youhanna made two great saves in the second half and Cole scored the Gator's only goal.

On Saturday, Sept. 30, Pink Panthers beat Blue Devils 4-2 in the girl's Under-10 House League. Alexis Gaines scored all four goals for Pink Panthers and played good defense, as did Julie Lin, Yvonne Chen and Kara Wong. In addition to scoring the goals, Gaines was excellent as the Panther's goalie during the second half. |
