September 26, 2006 > David defeats Goliath in boy's soccer

The FC Fremont Under-8 Boys Developmental Team, the Fremont King Cobras, started off the fall season with skill and teamwork that allowed this "David" of a team to win over their older and bigger "Goliath" counterparts, FC Fremont boy's Under-10 team, one to two years older. The King Cobras kicked off the 2006 season with an 8-0 shutout, followed by another shutout, 7-0.  Next up was some stiffer competition as they won their last two games 6-4 and 2-0.  Contributing to the King Cobras' fierce defense and strong offensive play were Sebastian Chavez, Joshua Chan, Daniel McGreer, Cesar Pulido, Noah Robinson, Adam Courter, Nate Gee, Ben Ulrich, Gavan Singh, Marcus Dubois, Garrett Robertson, and Alex Lee. The King Cobras head into this week with a record of 4-0, and are poised to have a strong season.
