On Saturday, Sept. 16, the Green Gators, of the Under-12 House League, won their third straight game, 3-1, over the Blue Force, then dropped a 1-0 decision to the Pumas in a battle of unbeatens the following Monday. Against the Blue Force, Lacey Cole scored two goals and Katie Courville one while Madison Cook contributed with a pair of assists. In the match against the Pumas, Jessica Geier had a shot go just over the cross bar. Erika Neave and Nadine Morishita also had a good game for the Gators despite the loss.
The Blue Streak, of the Under-14 House League, lost 6-0 to the Chaos on Wednesday, Sept. 13 as Shannon Grant and Lauren Vargas played well in the defeat. Then on Saturday, Sept. 16, the Blue Streak lost 5-1 to the Tigers with Victoria Gallegos scoring the Blue Streak's first goal of the season. She was assisted by Ally Hamro Cardona. |
