Hayward Police Department's Community Academy commences weekly meetings on Monday, September 18.

Join other Hayward community members searching for venues to address neighborhood issues and concerns. Topics will include: COPPS philosophy and Hayward Neighborhood Alert; City of Hayward panel; police patrol structure; identity theft and Megan's Law; YFSB and Domestic Violence; communications and traffic; investigations; Special Victims Unit and Homicide panel; evidence collection/CSI; and gangs, narcotics, SWAT and K9 operations.
