Calling all parents of preschool and elementary school children! The City of Fremont Youth & Family Services (YFS) will be hosting a six-week workshop series called, "How To Talk So Kids Will Listen" by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish. Workshops will be held in morning or evening sessions.
Parents will have the opportunity to learn, discuss, share and practice effective parenting strategies to help children deal with their feelings, increase cooperation, and increase self-esteem. Effective alternatives to punishment will also be shared.
