2006 Over-All Karate Grand Championby Katrina Flores
Jillian Jamero, a third grade student at Pioneer Elementary School in Union City, is the 2006 AMAPA Over-All Karate Point Sparring Grand Champion. The finals and awards ceremony was held on Saturday, Sept. 2, in Anaheim, Calif. Jillian has been training since she was 5 years old under the instruction of Professor Max Pallen of Pallen's Martial Arts Union City. She currently holds a black/white belt.
Besides karate, Jillian plays competitive soccer for FC Fremont Flash, U9-D1.
She is also a member of the Youth Pacific USATF and runs for Mission Valley Track Club. |
