Remember the Bears on July 17th
The One Bear Project is having a party and you are invited! Come to Cloverleaf Bowl between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 17th and bring a Teddy Bear or other stuffed animal for admission. No cash is allowed at this party! Special One Bear Project Guest will be DeVon Hardin, 2004 Newark Memorial High School Honor Graduate. Silent auctions will be bid in Teddy Bears (you can bring them later, if you are a winner). The cuddly critters will be donated directly to the League of Volunteers so you know they will all find a good home. These bears are destined to "heal hearts one bear at a time."
Each guest who donates a bear will receive:
One free game of bowling with shoes (one per person) (Thank You Cloverleaf Family Bowl) $2.00 discount off dry cleaning at Walnut Cleaners in Fremont ($15 minimum order. Thank You Walnut Cleaners)
Activities Scheduled for the party include: Hayward Storytellers - a regional group of eclectic storytellers Basic jewelry making from Rosie of Kiowa Rose in Niles Lessons in making quesadillas from Minerva's Restaurant and Catering of Fremont Tri-city Fire and Police Departments Fingerprinting, courtesy of Kiwanis Club of Fremont
