Melrose Forde has announced her candidacy for the position of President-Elect of the Bay East Association of REALTORS(r). She is currently an active Realtor and Assistant General Manager for RE Realty Experts, Fremont/Pleasanton. Recently honored by Bay East as the 2005 REALTOR(r) of the Year in recognition of service to the profession and her community, Melrose has been a member and leader of the organization since 1989. Her qualifications include service as an officer and board member as well as serving in key positions on the California Association of REALTORS(r). Her extensive service in the community includes being a board associate of League of Volunteers (LOV), board member of Ohlone College Foundation and active membership in Newark Chamber of Commerce.
