The Highlands Sharks overthrew the Kennedy Seals on the weekend of June 24, 565-441. The Sharks made great leaps of improvement Saturday with many firsts. Beth Avon came away with a first in the 13-14 girls' 50-yard butterfly as well as leading her 200 medley team to a first. Rachel Westerhoff raced to wins in the 15-18, 50 butterfly and the 100 individual medley. Charlie Nam outswam the competition with four firsts in the 15-18, 50 backstroke, 50 freestyle, 200 medley relay, and 200 free relay. Megan Roche sprinted to a first in the 8-under, 25 breaststroke.

Erin Cochran grabbed firsts in the 9-10, 100 free relay, 25 backstroke, and the 100 medley. Lucas Williams made a drastic improvement with 2 firsts in the 8-under 25 butterfly and the 25 backstroke. Michael Wang flew to first in the 11-12, 50 backstroke. Shrey Vasavada swam to a win in the 6 - under, 25 freestyle. Andrew Harrell, Matthew Keenan, James William, and Kevin Wu stormed the competition with a first place in their 200 free relay. Amber Ferrel raced to a win in the 15-18 50 breaststroke.
