On July 8th and 9th, I will be walking a marathon and a half - 39 miles - to honor those who are afflicted with breast cancer. This group includes my wife, Virginia, a two year breast cancer survivor. Thanks to the generosity of friends, new and old, who have contributed to our participation in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer crusade, we have reached and exceeded our goal of $1,800 in donations.

We would like to take this opportunity to say "Thank You" for the generous support we have received. Every dollar helps and when I 'hit the road,' please know that our community will hold a special place in our hearts. Participation in the Avon Walk as well as other fundraising efforts will hopefully soon find a cure for cancer and other diseases.
