Logitech Harmony remote customers can click to see Adam Sandler's new comedy
For a limited time, customers who purchase a Logitech(R) Harmony(R) Advanced Universal remote at select U.S. retailers will receive two free tickets to see Columbia Pictures/Revolution Studios' new feature film comedy, "Click" which opens in theaters on June 23. Logitech's (NASDAQ:LOGI) (SWX:LOGN) award-winning Harmony remotes help people take complete control of today's complex home-entertainment systems.
Logitech's in-store promotion continues through July 7. After purchasing a Logitech remote at a participating retailer, customers can register it online and they will be mailed two tickets to see Click. More information about the promotion is available online at logitech.com/click.
Powered by Logitech's patented Smart State Technology(R), Harmony remote controls are designed to work the way people think, requiring just one click of a button to initiate a home-entertainment activity. For example, to watch TV on a satellite system with a digital video recorder (DVR), the TV, receiver, satellite, and DVR box may all have to be powered up and set to the right inputs. A Harmony remote can send all of the appropriate infrared (IR) commands with one touch. Without the Harmony remote, the activity might require pressing 10 or more buttons on several remote controls.
All Harmony remotes are Internet-powered: they use a USB connection to interface with the PC. They are easily programmed through a shared, online database containing information about tens of thousands of home-entertainment components and other remote-controlled devices. All Harmony customers have their own online home page that details their exact setup, which can easily be updated or modified at any time.
