Blood Bank honors Irvington High Schoolby Sara O'Brien
Lindy Boyes and Bob Sutherland of the Rossmoor Blood Bank Society presented a $3,000 check to the Leadership Class at Irvington High School in Fremont in recognition of the excellent level of student participation at American Red Cross blood drives during the last school year. The Leadership Class sponsored four blood drives, more than any other Alameda or Contra Costa county high school, and collected 318 pints of blood, exceeding any other school by 61 pints. This was Irvington High's third straight year for top honors recognition. |
