The City of Newark's 51st birthday will be celebrated with its annual celebration of Newark Days. Applications for food and game booths are available now on a first-come, first-serve basis. Newark Days will be held September 14 through 17.

Other events will include an arts and crafts trade fair, a Saturday morning parade, and a car and truck show.

Volunteer opportunities are available for people of all ages. Entry forms for all these events are available at the Newark Community Center, Newark Library, Silliman Center, Chamber of Commerce and the League of Volunteers Community Service Center.
