Dancing with your local stars will be patterned after the hit television show "Dancing with the Stars." Our own event will feature local stars in the community in a one evening dance contest to crown the king or queen of the ballroom.

The local stars include State Senator Liz Figueroa, Dr. Bernard Stewart (board at Washington Hospital and committee leader of Celebrate Fremont), Jamie Jaramillo (executive director of Centro des Servicios and leader in the Hispanic community), Ana Apodaca (Newark Councilmember), Danna Bergstrom, (Fremont Chamber of Commerce), and Darren Young (Niles Rotary).

Jim Brunelli (businessman and president of Niles Rotary) has agreed to act as our emcee for the event, and Fremont City Councilmember Dominic Dutra will serve as one of the judges.
