Earthquake book readingby Melanie McInerney, Adult Program Librarian
For his book, Three Fearful Days: San Francisco Memoirs of the 1906 Earthquake and Fire, Malcolm E. Barker researched hundreds of personal letters, diaries, and out of print books.
Join us at the Milpitas Community Library when he will read first-hand accounts of this devastating event. Written by survivors while the experiences and emotions were still fresh in their minds, their words create a vivid picture of what the city and its inhabitants suffered and overcame. This free program is made possible by the Friends of the Milpitas Library. For more information call (408) 262-1171 ext 3616.
