The FC Fremont Blaze (U10 Girls) met the Fremont Eclipse on a muddy field on Saturday, April 1 and came out on top 3-1 for their second win. Defense was the key to this game with outstanding play by Avary Edwards who really found her spot as fullback in this game. Offensive game captain Hanna Bombino scored two goals and Danielle Macias scored 1 to give the Blaze the lead. Rosie Salazar had her first assist this season which really gave her the spark to play tough at the mid-field position. Defensive game captain Jessica Geier and Raylene Gould partnered in goal with three saves each to keep the Blaze on top.
