MILPITAS, March 17_Opvista of Milpitas, an optical networks provider, appointed Sawn Hogh vice president of marketing and Lance Mcnally vice president of engineering.

Hugh served as senior vice president of product management and marketing at CIENA and is former VP of marketing at Kestrel Solutions and Lumenar Networks. Before that, she held positions at Bell Laboratories and AT&T/Lucent.

McNally is former director of engineering at Nortel and Zenith Data Systems. He also served at Honeywell, Texas Instruments and Mostek Semiconductor.
