An information meeting on the two-way Spanish-English immersion program is offered at Blacow Elementary School. Teachers and school staff will explain to parents, guardians and other interested community members how learning Spanish and English in a two-way immersion program can help students succeed in school and enhance their prospects for the future.

Child care will be provided, refreshments will be served and door prizes will be awarded, organizers said. Anyone interested in further information about the meeting or the dual language immersion program should call Blacow Elementary School at (510) 656-5121, ext. 22-002 or 22-024.
