DataSafe was commended by the Newark City Council on their 60th anniversary. They have serviced the Bay Area's Records Management's needs since 1946 and have a facility in Newark since 2001. Marketing Coordinator, Conner Morlang, was present to accept this commendation.
Mayor David W. Smith received a surprise commendation from the city council for his 30 years of dedicated service to Newark. Since his initial election on March 2, 1976, Smith has been re-elected 14 times, and he is currently serving as the most senior mayor in California. Vice Mayor Nagy and Council members Apodaca, Freitas, and Johnson presented Mayor Smith with this commendation. Congressman Pete Stark also sent a representative in his name to recognize Smith for his commitment to improving the quality of life in the city of Newark. |
