Fremont-area parents, guardians and students are invited to attend an information fair Wednesday, Dec. 14, for students interested in applying to or receiving information about historically black colleges and universities. The Historically Black College/ University Information Fair will be in the Irvington High School Valhalla Theater, 41800 Blacow Road, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The fair has been organized by the Black Student Union at Irvington High School.
Many of the most prominent schools in the Historically Black College/University Coalition are scheduled to participate in the fair, including representatives from Dillard, Howard, Southern, Tuskegee, Langston and Texas Southern universities; Morehouse and Spelman colleges, and many more.
Counselors also will provide prospective students with information about where to find and how to apply for financial aid.
