Fanta vs. Salsa - Directors Cup U14G, Salsa won 3-0

Saturday, Nov. 12

Fanta played a very tough game against the best team. All girls played extremely well and aggressive, and our goalie Sarah Talooi played one of her best games. She saved many balls that would have otherwise gone in. Our defenses Erica Ohye, Erica Wong, Christina Kim, Neha Teekappanavar, and Vicky Tsao played well and kept the score close.

Fanta vs. White Tigers - Directors Cup U14G, Fanta won 4-0

Saturday, Nov. 12

Fanta's Melody Chen had a great game. She scored four goals before halftime and secured Fanta's first victory in the tournament. Assisting the goals include Selina Mahesri, Raquel Heng, Malika Rajvanshy. All players played well and helped to win a shutout game against the Tigers.

Fanta vs. Pumas - Directors Cup U14G, tied 1-1

Sunday, Nov. 13

In this exciting game Fanta's Melody Chen scored our goal and all Fanta players played superbly and helped each other in offense and defense. They were running, intercepting and kicking the ball fearlessly. Chrystalle Navarro, Iris Chen, Miranda Alam and Malika Rajvanshy played outstandingly and at the end, we tied with Pumas and advanced to the consolation playoff.

Fanta vs. Royal Force - Directors Cup U14G consolation playoff, Royal Force won 1-0

Sunday, Nov. 13

Fanta saved the best and played their best in this consolation playoff. There were some scoring opportunities created by our players Melody Chen, Malika Rajvanshy, Chrystalle Navarro and Nicole Gronski. Solid defense from Savita Senthil, Miranda Alam, Erica Ohye, Erica Wong and Christina Kim. All players gave every last bit of energy they could muster. And Fanta won the 4th place finish in the Directors Cup U14G.
