Free hockey and skate classes
Starting on November 18, Sharks Ice at Fremont will be offering FREE, four-week introductory hockey & skating classes for youth aged 5-8. The Sharks Ice at Fremont facility will provide all of the necessary equipment for the classes, as well as qualified instruction and other rink benefits. These FREE sessions are aimed at bringing more kids into the sports of hockey and skating, and they are a great opportunity for youth to try the sports "risk-free" before committing to class lessons or leagues. Introductory classes at Sharks Ice at Fremont will be held Fridays: 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. on November 18, December 2, 9, & 16. The Blackhawks compete in the Northern California Junior Hockey Association (NORCAL) league and along with the Southern California Amateur Hockey Association (SCAHA) make up the California Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA) at the State level.
