November 1, 2005 > Gourd Madness

For the first time in the Tri-City area a gallery is offering a gourd only showcase. This showcase features mixed media decorated gourds. The various gourds have been carved, dyed or painted with colored pencil or acrylic and transformed into containers, jewelry, sculptures, and ornaments. Also included are paintings of gourds. These unique works will make wonderful gifts for the coming holidays. Artists featured are: Sharon Dwyer, Susan Helmer, P.Kay Hillie Hatten, Denise Oyama Miller, Judy Oyama Olson, Marcia Ritz, and Cindy Sullivan.
