Early voting for Special Election available at Fremont City Hall
As a convenience to local voters, early voting for the November 8, 2005 Special Statewide Election will be available at Fremont City Hall beginning Monday, Oct. 17. Voters may cast their ballots Monday through Friday, from Monday, Oct. 17 through Friday, Oct. 28, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., at City Hall, located at 3300 Capitol Avenue, Building A. Picture identification is required.
California will have a statewide Special Election on November 8 to consider eight propositions that would change state laws. Some counties may also have elections that day for local candidates and local ballot measures.
Early voting is available for all registered voters of Alameda County and is not limited to Fremont residents only. If you have not yet registered to vote, you may do so through Monday, Oct. 24. Voter registration forms are available at Fremont City Hall or online at www.ss.ca.gov/elections/votereg1.html.
