October 4, 2005 > Firefighter Community calendar now available

The Fremont Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Fremont Firefighters Local 1689, recently released its annual 15-month Firefighter Community Calendar featuring firefighters from Fremont, Newark and Union City. Covering October 2005 through December 2006, the calendar includes a monthly listing of community events around the Tri-Cities area along with contact information for each event.

The annual calendar is a compilation of the Tri-Cities bravest captured in a variety of photographs depicting their work and involvement in the community. The calendar is a celebration to every firefighter's dedication to the safety and well being of our community.

To purchase a calendar, contact the Fremont Chamber of Commerce at (510) 795-2244 or order online at www.fremontbusiness.com. Calendars are $18, plus $3 for shipping and handling. A portion of the proceeds from each calendar sold will be donated to the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation.
