On Wednesday, September 28, PEP, Business Partners for Emergency Preparedness, have scheduled a workshop on Confronting Workplace Medical Emergencies at LSI Logic Corporation, 1621 Barber Lane, Milpitas. The instructor, Jeanne Iverson, Principal, VSI Risk Management and Ergonomics, will cover patient assessment, blood pressure monitoring, evaluating and preparing personnel for responding to a critical emergency, and what to do until help arrives.

The event will begin with 9:30 a.m. registration and the workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The $35 registration fee for Milpitas Chamber of Commerce members and $45 for non-members will include lunch and advisories for business and preparedness handouts.
