September 13, 2005 > URGENT - LOV needs your help

Moving Day is fast approaching for the League of Volunteers. After 10 years in one location - they are moving to both Ruschin and MacGregor Schools in Newark.

Donations needed for:
Trucks with dollies & volunteer drivers, evenings the week of September 19 & 26
Volunteers to load & unload trucks evenings the week of September 19 & 26
A fork or scissor lift week of 9/12 or 9/19 to take down a large screen TV & the LOV Boat (so it can be in the Newark Days parade)
Lumber - 2x4s & 1/2" plywood - to built new warehouse shelving
5 metal TV rolling TV stands
2 - 100 cup coffee pots - of the 6 we have - only 1 works
A People Mover - so we can transport the less physically able as the parking at MacGregor is not close to the auditorium. Would like something that can take 3-6 people at a time + driver
A volunteer who can install and network the computers

If you are unable to volunteer or do not have access to any of the items needed, donations are welcome. The estimated cost of the move is $50,000. To date LOV has collected slightly over $5,000. There is a long way to go in a very short period of time.
