Free flowers!
On September 7, residents of Fremont will have the unique opportunity to meet each other and develop new friendships when Fremont Flowers hosts its annual Good Neighbor Day event. Beginning at 10 a.m., Fremont Flowers, at its new address, 37085 Fremont Blvd. will give away hundreds of roses in bunches of a dozen, absolutely FREE to anyone who visits the shop, while supplies last.
There is one catch, however. Dirk Lorenz, the owner of Fremont Flowers hopes the goodwill is exactly that - "catching". Anyone who picks up a dozen free flowers will be asked to sign a promise to keep one of the flowers for themselves and give the others away to 11 different people - spreading goodwill and friendship in the community.
This is Fremont Flowers 10th year of hosting Good Neighbor Day in Fremont. Extra dozens can be purchased at the event for a donation of $5. All proceeds from the sale of extra dozens go directly to the Fremont Education Foundation to support after school programs in our local schools.
